Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Lookup Figures (Suguru, Satoru, Toji)
Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! I’m super exciting for Jujutsu Kaisen’s second season to come out in just a few weeks! While I wait to watch the anime, I tend to spend some time checking out all the cool new merchandise for it. Honestly, Hidden inventory is my favorite ark of the series. This time, Satoru and Suguru will be facing off against Toji, in order to protect a young girl named Riko. It’d be nice if they went all in with the anime and even added a few extra scenes. As someone who’s read the manga first, I can’t even explain my excitement for it!! >~<
Be on the look out, because new Lookup Figures are coming. Yes, Satoru and Suguru will be getting more Lookup Figures; and Toji will be getting his first. Lookup Figures are a chibi anime collectibles that come in sitting poses. But their heads are titled up slightly, almost as if they’re looking up at you. Lookup Figures are made by Megahouse. They come in a variety of fun characters.
Please note that the pictures we will be looking at today are vary early; and thus may differ from the finished products. In addition, they are yet to be painted. I’m not sure when these three are coming out. So far I’ve found very little information about them on the internet. If you have any please give it in the comments for everyone.
Aww they are so cute…The heads on Lookup Figures are rotatable. All of them have such big eyes don’t they? I want to review each of them separately too of course.
First, Suguru Geto’s Lookup figure on the left. You’l probably notice that his sitting posture is different from the other two. The way his hands are over his legs makes him look collected doesn’t it? Overall, I think this is a very nice figure. However, I do have one critique. I feel like Suguru’s eyes have not been designed quire right on a bunch of chibi figures because his yes are narrower; and it’s accustomed for chibis to have big eyes. I just feel like if they’d have made his eyes smaller, he would have been more true to the character and much cuter.
Next, Satoru Gojo’s Lookup figure in the middle. Compared to some other Satoru figures I’ve seen, this one actually impresses me a lot! You see, I’m glad they did it where he wears glasses, but you can’t still see his eyes. I know that many anime fans think that Gojo is one of coolest anime characters, but I hope you can understand me when I say it can be a little off putting when you get merchandise with no eyes and just a black blindfold over his face. Gojo’s blindfold is cool, but sometimes it’s way more exciting to be able to see his eyes too. This is definitely a very Gojo way to sit don’t you think?
Lastly, Toji Fushiguro’s Lookup figure on the far right. I think his face expression turned out really well! It seems like Toji doesn’t lend himself very well to the chibi art style. I love this approach to his expression because it’s still cute and looks more natural for him! Again, his choice of sitting position feels like that’s how he would actually sit. His way of keeping his arm above his legs looks strong like he’s getting ready for battle. His cocky personality is captured nicely in this figure.

I definitely want these when they come out. I’m not sure when they will become availed in my country though. The reason why I haven’t bought any Lookup Figures is because of their price. From what I’ve seen, Lookup Figures are sold for around 50$. I’ve seen them in stores in my area, but they tend to be marked up to that unbelievable price. They might be cheaper from online shops coming from Japan. But from where I live the shipping will usually bring the price back up to 50$ or so anyway.
I do love these figures, but that’s a little bit much to pay in my opinion. I don’t mind paying that kind of price for figures with lots a parts, or amazing scale figures. But these are chibi style models like Hikkake and so the price is a bit much for me. 20$—30$ is good for something like this.
In conclusion, I love the new Lookup Figures and I’m super exciting to hear more about them! It’ll be nice when we get to see them in color. If I can figure out their release date, I’ll do another post when they come on preorder so stay tuned!
