We Are Getting Oshi No Ko Nendoroids! 🎶⭐️

Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! Lately, one of the most talked about anime is Oshi No Ko. I have very exciting news if you love the series! The Good Smile company posted the early versions of nendoroids Aqua and Kana. Both of them look wonderful in my opinion. As of right now, these two haven’t been painted yet, but like usual we can easily guess what they will look like in color.

Oshi No Ko is a manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It’s been airing as a TV anime series since spring 2023. The anime can only be watched on HIDIVE however. The story starts with a doctor and his patient who are reincarnated as an idol’s twins. Their mother Ai, hides the fact that she has kids as she continues her work as a star. But in an unexpected series of events, she ends up being murdered. Desperate to live up to their mothers dreams, Aqua and Ruby take on the industry and attempt avenge their mother. Oshi No Ko seems cute at first, but it focuses on the corruption of the popular industry and expresses rather dark themes.

Aqua is the male protagonist; at his mother’s wish, he strives to become an actor. But his secret mission is that he’s searching for the culprit of his mother’s death.

Aqua’s new nendoroid looks so cool! His eyes are amazing aren’t they? I think the job with his eyes turned out exceptionally well. His hair and suit look really nice as well. I can’t wait to see these in color, because Oshi No Ko characters are super colorful.

As of now, we only get one snapshot. I enjoy guessing the other faces, so I’d like to try. Since we get his regular expression face here, I think he’ll have his cool face for sure. I bet the third one will be his more insane looking smile for when he’s on to something.

Next we have Kana. Ruby sillily calls her “Loli Senpai” for no apparent reason. She ends up joining Ruby’s idol group; but she struggled a lot with her dreams. She’s inspired by a real actress, Mana Ashida. Similar to the child actress Mana Ashida, Kana ends up being used a lot by people.

You might think it’s weird that Kana will be getting a nendoroid before Ruby, but keep in mind that the Good Smile company has been choosing to release the more popular characters. And it seems like currently, Kana is more popular with fans. (No hard feelings please. >-<)

Kana Arima’s new nendoroid is very cute! Even her outfit looks fancy. I love her hat….Again, the eyes look phenomenal. I’m beginning to notice that Mengo Yokoyari Sensei has a nice yet unique way of drawing them.

Kana’s first face is her smile. Honestly I’m not as sure as to what her other faces could be. She might have a crying face, and then maybe a blushing face?
