Ryuma from MONSTERS Will Be Getting a Nendoroid!

I have great news for fans of Eiichiro Oda’s ‘MONSTERS’, Ryuma will be getting a nendoroid! The Good Smile company recently announced that Ryuma would be getting a nendoroid on their Instagram. However, we just found out that he’ll be getting his own nendoroid, so I’d imagine it will still be quite some time before we get to see any photos. I will absolutely do a review for him when he goes up for preorder!
MONSTERS: 103 Mercies dragon Damnation is a movie based on a one-shot story that Eiichiro Oda wrote before starting his most famous work, One Piece. The main character, Ryuma, makes an appearance as a mummy in One Piece. MONSTERS received an anime adaption as a movie by E&H Production and streamed on NETFLIX. The film is an interesting, spin-off story that honors Oda Sensei’s legacy. When a mysterious swordsman named Ryuma adventures into a village, he has no clue about the chaos waiting to unfold there.
Ryuma is the protagonist of MONSTERS. He follows a strict set of beliefs about swordsmanship. Ryuma is a strong fighter, and he has a determined personality. His origins are rather mysterious, but he’s always willing to help those who feed him.
Ryuma’s nendoroid figure will certainly be worth waiting for. I’m glad the Good Smile company got the rights for this one. We may not be able to get any One Piece nendos due to distribution rights, but lucky for us, MONSTERS characters can join our nendoroid collections! I think that Ryuma will become one of the most exciting figures to look out for, when we get more information.
What faceplates and parts do you think Ryuma will come with? Please let me know in the comments! I think he will include a grinning faceplate, a serous faceplate, and then either a laughing faceplate or an eating faceplate. I also think that he should include his sword, and its sheath. His sword will probably work similar to the Demon Slayer nendo’s swords. He might include an extra set of legs that are bent over, which is used a lot for nendoroid’s combat poses. It would be amazing if Ryuma came with some cool effects to use as well. No matter what he comes with, this is an import character, so I hope the Good Smile company puts their all into this nendoroid. I’m definitely looking forward to him, and I’ll cover this figure further when we get more information. In the meantime, I wish you luck with your figure collection!
