Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Plushies
Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! I’m so glad you found my blog! I love to talk about upcoming anime figures and merchandise and share photos of my own collection. Nendoroids are my favorite, but I cover a wide variety of anime related subjects. Plus, I have a YouTube channel too, so feel free to check it out sometime! And thank you so much for tuning in; have fun reading!
The Good Smile company ha been releasing planty of new plushies as of late, but perhaps their new Frieren plushies are among the most exciting. Frieren, Fern, and Stark are now featured as adorable plush mascots. These are very cute, and easy to collect. Also, Frieren’s big plush comes in a massive size!
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is a manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and drawn by Tsukasa Abe, which received its own anime adaptation in the autumn of 2023. The manga is published weekly in Shonen Sunday magazine. Despite being a fairly new story, Frieren is immensely popular both for it’s bright characters and dramatic plot line. The story follows Frieren, who comes back from a 10 year long adventure with Hemmel the hero, Heiter the priest, and Eizen the warrior. Hemmel’s party is celebrated for their triumph against the demon king. Although Hemmel, Heiter, and Eizen speak of the adventure as though it was their last, Frieren can’t seem to understand them. After all, elve’s lifespans are much longer than most. And so, time goes by. Frieren eventually hears of Hemmel’s passing, and decides that from here on out, she’ll strive to understand humans and appreciate her time with them. After she meets an orphan Heiter took in named Fern, and Eizen’s apprentice Stark, Frieren reembarks on the adventure that once ended.
Frieren, the great mage who traveled with Hemmel the hero.
Fern, the orphan who was taken in by Heiter, and became Frieren’s apprentice.
Stark, Eizen’s apprentice, and the warrior who travels with Frieren and Fern.
Frieren looks so cute as a plush! I love the neutral expression they gave her, it suits her well. Her clothes turned out pretty nice too, didn’t they? Her hair is tinted slightly more blue than usual, but other than that, I like her new plush a lot.
Fern also looks great as a plush. I like her eyes, they turned out nice. These plushies would be awesome to place on top of my display cabinet.
I like Stark’s new plush too! It doesn’t look like they gave him his axe…I wish he’d a least have it with him. Stark is well suited to being a plushie if you ask me.
Ah, everyone’s so cute! I kind of want them now…
These three are manufactured by the Good Smile company. The Frieren plushies are made with polyester materials. They’re approximately 6.69 inches tall. Which is 170 mm.
Frieren, Fern, and Stark’s new plushies are sold individually. They are currently up for preorder, and they will release in the first quarter of 2025. You can purchase them from the Good Smile Online shop, or the Good Smile US store.
The Good Smile company is also manufacturing a big Frieren plush! This massive Frieren is over a foot tall! She would definitely be great to have if you’re a huge fan of the series. I personally love it when they make giant versions of the plushies, so I’m glad the Good Smile company did this for hers.
Here is a size comparison, showing you the difference between the normal and big Frieren plush.
Now that I see them together, these two would be cute together, wouldn’t they? By the way, Fern and Stark are not available in a big size as far as we know. I’m not sure if they’ll receive bigger versions, but if they do, I’ll cover them on my blog.
The big Frieren plushie is also made with polyester fabrics, and she’s 15.75 inches or 400 mm tall. She is set to release in the first quarter of 2025.
If you enjoy my Frieren content, please also check out my reviews for the Frieren nendoroids! I love this anime, so I hope to continue writing about its latest merchandise.
