Nendoroid Kafka Hibino Review
Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! I’m so glad you found my blog! I love to talk about upcoming anime figures and merchandise and share photos of my own collection. Nendoroids are my favorite, but I cover a wide variety of anime related subjects. Plus, I have a YouTube channel too, so feel free to check it out sometime! And thank you so much for tuning in; have fun reading!
Kaiju No. 8’s anime release is just on the horizon, and it certainly has become one of the most anticipated anime series of spring 2024. The Good Smile company had previously announced the Kaiju No. 8 nendoroids, but now nendoroid figures for Kafka Hibino and Reno Ichikawa are going up for preorder! In this post, I will take a look at Kafka Hibino’s new figure, and share my thoughts.
Kaiju No. 8 is a manga series written and illustrated by Naoya Matsumoto. It is serialized in Shonen Jump+, and is available to read on the Shonen Jump app. Despite being a fairly new story, it has become immensely popular. Kaiju No. 8 is set to get an anime in spring 2024. The story follows a man named Kafka Hibino who works for the defense force, an organization that protects Japan from monstrous beings called Kaiju. However, instead of being on the front lines, Kafka works as part of the crew that deals with the aftermath of Kaiju attacks. One day, Kafka accidentally ate a strange parasite that transforms him into “Kaiju No. 8”. Will this give him the power to fulfill his promise to his childhood friend?
Kafka Hibino is the protagonist of Kaiju No 8. He strives to become part of the defense force in order to fulfill a promise he made. Kafka also transforms into the mysterious “Kaiju No. 8” after ingesting a parasite.
Wow! Kafka’s new nendoroid looks just like he does in the anime visuals, doesn’t he? I love all the details on his Defense Force uniform. Kafka’s first faceplate is standard, collected expression. He also includes his gun, and holsters on his armor.
Here’s Kafka Hibino’s running pose! I like this on a lot. His screaming faceplate works for his fighting postures, but also running ones like this. He comes with an extra leg part for his running pose too.
Kafka even includes his beer.
His mask looks wicked doesn’t it? I love this pose; Hibino seems to be caught in the middle of the action!
It’s his silly expression! This one might actually be my favorite…
His military knife is strapped to his back. It’s quite cool that they included his detail!
You can pair Nendoroid Kafka Hibino with the other Kaiju No. 8 nendoroids, to recreate all sorts of exciting scenes! Reno Ichikawa is currently on preorder, and the others are coming soon. I love to see them displayed together!
The Defence Force gets ready for action in nendoroid form! It’s amazing to see these characters in chibi figure form.
I have a feeling these figures will be a lot of fun…
Nendoroid Kafka Hibino will release in the first quarter of 2025. He is currently available for preorders. You can purchase him from the Good Smile Online shop, the Good Smile US store, the Crunchyroll store, and Amiami.
In conclusion to this review, I think that Kafka’s new nendoroid figure will be amazing! I’m excited for him and his friends to release. I wonder if the Good Smile company is planning to release Kaiju No. 8 as a nendoroid figure someday… Let me know your thoughts in the comments section!
I’ll be covering more figures from Kaiju No.8 in the coming days, so stay tuned for more. I hope you will enjoy watching the anime this weekend! I think that it will be a worthwhile series, so please try it out. Thank you so much for reading! See you next post!
