Nendoroid Satoru Gojo: Tokyo Jujutsu High School Ver Review

Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! Today is July the 6th, which means Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will begin airing! I’m so excited to watch it; I can’t wait! As if the day wasn’t already good enough, this morning the Good Smile company added two new nendoroids to their website. Nendoroid Satoru Gojo: Tokyo Jujutsu High School Ver, and Nendoroid Suguru Geto: Tokyo Jujutsu High School Ver. Both are new versions of these characters for the hidden inventory ark! The hidden inventory ark is my favorite; so I’ll definitely be getting these two.

As someone who’s read the manga, it always warms my heart to be seeing all these new figures come out. I enjoy collecting merchandise from JJK and I enjoy talking about all of it on my website too.

In this post, let’s look at and review Nendoroid Satoru Gojo: Tokyo Jujutsu High School Ver!

Jujutsu Kaisen “Sorcery Fight” is a massive hit manga and anime series by Gege Akutami. It has 2 seasons and a special movie for it’s prequel series, Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The story follows a boy named Itadori Yuji, who eats a mysterious finger belonging to the ancient curse Ryomen Sukuna. After eating it, it turns out he is the perfect vessel; and he must collect and eat all the other fingers before his execution. Jujutsu Kaisen focuses on a vast cast of students at the Jujutsu Technical high school. The story has some great characters, but in a dark world filled with curses and no mercy, it’s never good to get too attached.

Satoru Gojo “五条悟” is one of the most popular characters in the series. He’s known as “the strongest”. However, in the hidden inventory ark, he’s a troublemaking teenager. Satoru is popular for his cocky and silly personality.

Wow! Upon first inspection, his glassses really stand out. These look like the new glasses for hidden inventory, which are blue in color. Overall, this Satoru brings out the polished new design! This is Satoru’s cocky face isn’t it? He includes parts for putting his hands in his pockets too.

I like his tongue-out faceplate! >~< It’s always enjoyable when he tries to use his technique and fails. I loved the scenes where Gojo’s a bit weaker than in the present.

Satoru can hold his sunglasses as well! This is super neat! I just noticed that his glasses are reflective.

I remember seeing this exact same face in the manga. Satoru comes with his cellphone. You might expect him to have an IPhone, but remember this is 2006!

This is a cute expression! I think this is from the scene where Satoru and the others were eating nooodles in Okinawa. Technically this piece is called “Koregusu” it’s a hot chili sauce from Okinawa. Although realistically Satoru would have been in his beach outfit here. I hope that they release their beach clothes someday.

Satoru Gojo’s combat parts will be perfect for his fight with Toji! I’m certain they’ll release a Toji nendoroid one of these days.

His cellphone is golden??? Looks like Satoru’s getting a phone call. >_<

All the jujutsu Kaisen nendoroid's basses are clear with special designs for each character. This one has Satoru’s face on it; with his glasses and hair peeking out.

[Do you need some Koregusu for that Soba?] He doesn’t say that in the manga or anything, I just came up with it.

Nendoroid Satoru Gojo: Tokyo Jujutsu High School Ver will release in the first quarter of 2024. He is on preorder now on the Good Smile store and the Good Smile US store. Another good place to buy is Amiami.

I think that this Satoru nendo looks amazingly polished! I would definitely recommend getting him. The price on him is quite cheap for a Nendoroid too. He’s being sold for about 39$! This will be the Good Smile company’s third Gojo nendoroid after all.
