Unboxing Year of the Snake Mystery Figures

Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! I’m so glad you found my blog! I love to talk about upcoming anime figures and merchandise and share photos of my own collection. Nendoroids are my favorite, but I cover a wide variety of anime related subjects. Plus, I have a YouTube channel too, so feel free to check it out sometime! As you may know, the Good Smile company occasionally offers mystery figures for a special, discounted price. And just the other day, some much-awaited goods arrived at my door step: the Year of the Snake Mystery Figures. The last time I purchased surprise figures for New Year’s, they were sold in various mystery boxes. However, this time around the figures are being sold as mystery figures instead. In short, you can buy as many as you wish, but the deal isn’t as cheap as it was before. I decided to order two of the mystery figures, and I was very happy with how they turned out! There’s really nothing cooler than being able to add new characters to my collection for a great price.

Wow, I pulled the Shield Hero and Sumi Sakurasawa! I’m really happy with these two; what a lucky pull!

I’ve watched all of the Rising of Shield Hero anime, so I’m glad I got Naofumi’s nendoroid figure.

Both of these figures come with some great parts, don’t they?

An unusual combination, but these two are gonna be friends from now on! >~<

I decided to open up Naofumi Iwatani first. Look at all the shield pieces he comes with! I also love his crying face for some reason.

Ta-da! He doesn’t look that happy even though I released him from his box…

I’m definitely going to set up some scenes with him!

Will the Shield Hero be able to hold his own against his foe?

Next is Sumi Sakurasawa! I hear she comes from the anime, Rent a Girlfriend. I’ve never watched Rent a Girlfriend, but I have watched a video of the Mangaka before. Sumi is so cute though, isn’t she?

Her color scheme is very pretty. I already have plenty of photo ideas for her!

These three came from the same package, so I figured they should get along. And what better way to that that than to take theme all out to the cafe for a drink! Well, Suguru seems to work at the cafe currently.

Good news, I ordered him when I bought the mystery figures and he came at the same time.

I’m really glad that I bought these two. Mystery characters are super fun because of the surprise element of not knowing who’s in the box. You’ll probably be seeing these guys on my Instagram for the next few days at least. >~<
