I Got The Second Jujutsu Kaisen Light Novel!
Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! Thank you for checking out my blog. I went shopping yesterday, so I didn’t get the chance to write a blog post. But I got loads of cool merchandise, so I’ll have something to write about the next few days! I picked up my long awaited Jujutsu Kaisen novel from the bookstore! It wasn’t supposed to release until April 23 2023, but I found it on the shelf! I’m so lucky to be getting it early! It was only the 20th. I read the main series digitally; but I have some of the books in real life too. Then I collect the animation volumes and the novels in book form. I love the JJK novels so much…they are filled with fun little details about the characters! In these books, we also get to see more moments from overlooked characters too. Since most of JJK has the protagonist pitted against the same group of bad guys, it’s also refreshing to see curse users who aren’t in the same faction. I definitely recommend the novel if you are a Jujutsu Kaisen fan! I read the first one and was overjoyed, so its great to be reading the sequel!
Jujutsu Kaisen: Thorny Road at Dawn by Ballad Kitaguni and Gege Akutami
The second light novel for Jujutsu Kaisen. All the characters and the world belongs to Gege Akutami; and this light novel was wrote by Ballad Kitaguni. In this volume, we see the story of how Kugisaki was rescued by Inumaki, Mechamaru’s heartwarming kindness towards his friends, and even Ijichi having loads of fun. These short stories are all very enjoyable for the fans!
The cover art is pretty too.
I have my matching bookmark with me! ✨ I got this from the bookstore a while back.
At the end of each chapter, there is a small illustration by Gege Akutami Sensei! I feel like the translators should get more credit; I’d imagine it’s a lot of work bringing the whole novel over!
Inumaki, are you reading that? I love my big Inumaki plush. You can see my Hikkake figures in this picture too.
