Photography: Dramatic Cool Filter Nendoroid Photos
Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! I haven’t done many Nendoroid photo shoots lately; I’m sorry. I’ll try to do some more in the upcoming days, but until then I want to start back my photography posts! These involve me adding filters to photos I’ve already taken; making for fun experiments! I want to learn how to best use each filter along the way. I should mention that filters vary between editing softwares, so sadly, you may not have access to some of the ones I’m using here. But there is probably an equivalent for it. Today I put some of my nendo’s photos in the dramatic cool filter! Let’s look at the difference between before and after!
This was our JJK beach day! This is the original.
Whoa, this looks so much better! I love the cool feel. The dramatic cool filter went well with the water.
Shinobu sitting down in our house! She seems to be chilling in the living room. 🎶 This is my original photo.
Ah, it’s also very pretty with the dramatic cool filter! It sure does make green look a lot better. It really brings out the color of darker greens.
Mikasa in her schoolgirl outfit! This picture was cute. This is the original.
She turned out much darker! The dramatic cool filter made the photo darker this time. Again, the green is looking absolutely beautiful.
Here is Ryomen Sukuna when I first got him! I love his domain expansion as a background! >~<
After adding our filter, I sort of feel like I am being trapped in his domain. I love the way it came out; what a great choice!
And that’s the dramatic cool filter in action! Funny, I pick out the photos before I add the filter, so I never really know how they will turn out.
I think the dramatic cool filter is best used when you want to add a cooler feel to your photo. It does especially good with green shades dark green in particular. So if that color appears a lot in your photo, this filter might be a good option. Just like with the previous dramatic filters, it makes black look solid. It will improve your black and white colors, and mute the rest a little. But I don’t recommend using it on photos with tons of shadows, because it will make them appear too dark.
What did you think of the dramatic cool filter? Let me know in the comments section!
