Oshi No Ko Aqua Plush

Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! I’m so glad you found my blog! I love to talk about upcoming anime figures and merchandise and share photos of my own collection. Anime figures are nice, but there’s always something special about anime plushies too; and Aqua Hoshino from Oshi No Ko is getting a plush manufactured by the Good Smile company!

Oshi No Ko is a manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It’s been airing as a TV anime series since spring 2023. The anime can only be watched on HIDIVE however. The story starts with a doctor and his patient who are reincarnated as an idol’s twins. Their mother Ai, hides the fact that she has kids as she continues her work as a star. But in an unexpected series of events, she ends up being murdered. Desperate to live up to their mother’s dreams, Aqua and Ruby take on the industry and attempt avenge their mother. Oshi No Ko seems cute at first, but it focuses on the corruption of the popular industry and expresses rather dark themes.

Aqua is the male protagonist; at his mother’s wish, he strives to become an actor. But his secret mission is that he’s searching for the culprit of his mother’s death.

Aqua’s new plushie is cute, isn’t he? I like the way they did his eyes. The Good Smile plushies are designed in a sitting pose. They’re made with polyester fabrics. Aqua’s plushie is 6.69 inches tall. He is available now on the Good Smile Online shop, and the Good Smile US store.

I love anime plushies! I keep mine on top of my display cabinet.
