New MILGRAM Merchandise for the Live Event “Hallucination”

I usually talk about anime figures, but this time I’m going to cover some merchandise instead! MILGRAM’s first live event, “Hallucination” was on the 21st of January 2024, and they added the new merchandise to their fan merch store! So in this post, I’ll be showing everyone the amazing new merchandise you can get! The brand new goods are currently open for reservations, and you won’t receive them until they release. MILGRAM merch usually goes fast, so it’s better to preorder if you want them. MILGRAM has added lots of new items to their store, which will be sure to delight any fan!

I’ve become quite the MILGRAM fan, and I often listen to the songs and audio dramas while I write this blog! It’s a very interesting concept. I can’t wait to check out this new merch!

MILGRAM is a music project that is fueled by the fan base. The music is created by the popular vocaloid producer, DECO*27. And the story is written by Yamanaka Takuya. The music videos are created by OTOIRO, and a team of skilled animators. MILGRAM’s story is heavily influenced by the decisions made by its fan base, making it an interactive music project! MILGRAM deals with dark, adult themes and may be inappropriate for certain audiences.

A guard with amnesia named Es, must decide the fates of 10 prisoners who have all murdered someone in their past. These murderers are brought to a prison called MILGRAM; and it’s up to you to decide whether they should be forgiven or not. Clues to the motive behind these murders are hidden within the music videos and lyrics. Fans must read between the lines, purpose theories, and listen carefully to conclude whether the criminal is innocent or guilty. In addition to songs, each character also gets their own audio drama, where Es interrogates them for more details. Their backstories are left vague, leaving plenty up to your interpretation. Who you choose to forgive, and who you choose to not forgive, is all up to you. And different people may have different perspectives about the same characters. Which is what’s makes MILGRAM special. Because, the decisions everyone makes will affect the story. And thus, MILGRAM is a deep and immersive music experience.

MILGRAM’s first live event, “Hallucination” was held on January 21st 2024. The event also aired online, and you can also watch it archived if you couldn’t catch it live. Tickets for Hallucination are being sold until February 4th. MILGRAM has also added Hallucination merchandise to their fan merch shop online! The live events features the ten prisoner characters, and the guards, Es and Jackalope!

In this post, I’ll be showing off some of the new merchandise from Hallucination you can purchase form the MILGRAM store! All of the Hallucination products are excepting reservations until March 12th 2024. All of the live event merch will release in May 2024. You can order from the AMNIBUS store. Fans from outside of Japan can order from the online store as well!

First up, you can now get MILGRAM trading badges for the live event, “Hallucination”! All twelve characters are featured in this set of circular pins. I love the new character designs for the live event. You can purchase these as a set, or you can get a single character! They are 56 mm in diameter.

You can also get acrylic trading cards! These come in a set, or you can buy singles. I like how the character’s names are written on their cards. The cards are 80 mm x 55 mm.

All the MILGRAM characters get new acrylic stands for their Hallucination designs! Their names are wrote on their bases, and the pictures look like portraits of the characters. The portrait is 69 mm x 55 mm, and the base is 55 mm x 25 mm.

These mini MILGRAM trading papers are cute too! They are 13.5 cm x 12 cm.

Wow, I love this MILGRAM Hallucination tote bag! Though I wish we could get the characters on the bag instead of just the logo. Big bags like this always come in handy don’t they? The bag is 35 cm tall and 62 cm wide.

You can get a Hallucination T shirt too! My favorite thing about this shirt is that all the character’s names are wrote on the back. The front of the shirt shows the Hallucination live event’s logo. This T shirt is unisex, and should fit most adults.

A fine graph picture featuring the MILGRAM character’s Hallucination key visuals is also available for preorder! this would look great atop a shelf or mantle. The picture comes with the frame; it’s 44 cm x 35.4 cm.

You can get the same design on an acrylic panel too! Personally, I prefer the frame but this is neat also. The acrylic panel is 21 cm x 14.8 cm.

I love the acrylic stands! Next, we will take a look at each stand individually. The MILGRAM live event, Hallucination versions of the acrylic stands are sold as individual products. So, you cannot purchase them in a set. Each character gets a smaller version and a bigger version, so you can collect your preferred scale. I should explain that the size terminologies listed on the MILGRAM store are a bit tricky. The extra large versions are close to a foot tall, while the BIG versions are about half that size. It’s a bit confusing, but please keep this in mind if you plan to get these.

Prison Guards, Es and Jackalope’s New Acrylic Stand Featuring Their Hallucination Visual.

Es and Jackalope look awesome don’t they! Es is the prison guard who represents the MILGRAM fanbase, whose aided by Jackalope. I love how they put them together on one stand!

Prisoner Number 01, Haruka’s New Acrylic Stand Featuring His Hallucination Visual.

This was a good pose for him; definitely reminds me of his personality in the music videos!

Prisoner Number 02, Yuno’s New Acrylic Stand Featuring Her Hallucination Visual.

This is probably the coolest pose for her I’ve seen yet. She looks like she’s taunting someone, but she also looks tough.

Prisoner Number 03, Futa’s New Acrylic Stand Featuring His Hallucination Visual.

I don’t know why, but Futa always looks cool in that face mask for some reason. He tends to have an angered look on his face doesn’t he?

Prisoner Number 04, Mu’s New Acrylic Stand Featuring Her Hallucination Visual.

Mu is a cute name isn’t it? I love how in the MINIGRAM chibi comics, she says her name all the time. She looks shy in this visual, and I think that works with her character because she felt like she couldn’t be herself.

Prisoner Number 05, Shidou’s New Acrylic Stand Featuring His Hallucination Visual.

Shidou looks cool here doesn’t he? They depicted him a little more sinister than they usually do.

Prisoner Number 06, Mahiru’s New Acrylic Stand Featuring Her Hallucination Visual.

I guess the Hallucination designs are based on their first trial appearances, because her and Futa aren’t injured. I like this pose for Mahiru!

Prisoner Number 07, Kazui’s New Acrylic Stand Featuring His Hallucination Visual.

I’ve always thought that Kazui had a wise look to him. This is an awesome pose for him, he seems to be deep within thought.

All the Hallucination designs depict the characters floating. You can especially tell with Amane. I like her hat!

I’m sure it must be mentally taxing to have his condition. They always depict him like his multiple personalities are driving him insane, which I think is fitting for him.

Kotoko’s new design looks wicked! She might just be the meanest person in MILGRAM, and she certainly looks strong here! Kotoko is actually one of my favorite MILGRAM characters.

Personally, I would have liked the poster to be bigger, but it would be cute to have all the little posters on your wall!

Aside from the prisoner outfit, I don’t think you’d be able to tell that Mahiru’s a murderer just by looking at her. Unless you know MILGRAM, of course.

A sticker featuring MILGRAM Hallucination’s logo is also available for preorder! The sticker is 12.4 cm x 4.3 cm.

MILGRAM’s Hallucination Live Event Illustration Bromides Set A

You may be unfamiliar with the word ‘bromides’ which comes from the Japanese word ‘bromaido’. Basically, bromides are tiny portraits of celebrities, singers, actors and actresses. Bromides are typically but not always printed on bromide paper. Set A includes bromides for Es, Haruka and Yuno.
