Nendoroid Rin Okumura Review

Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! I’m so glad you found my blog! I love to talk about upcoming anime figures and merchandise and share photos of my own collection. Nendoroids are my favorite, but I cover a wide variety of anime related subjects. Plus, I have a YouTube channel too, so feel free to check it out sometime! And thank you so much for tuning in; have fun reading!

The Good Smile company has been releasing many exciting new nendoroids as of late, and I’m thrilled to be covering them here on my blog! You might be surprised to hear that the popular manga and anime, Blue Exorcist is finally receiving nendoroid figures! The new nendos are manufactured by ORANGE ROUGE, a department of the Good Smile company that specializes in boy characters. Blue Exorcist’s Rin Okumura and Yukio Okumura are now featured in nendoroid form! I can’t wait to review these two. In this post, I’ll be reviewing nendoroid Rin Okumura, so let’s get started!

Blue Exorcist is a Shonen manga series written and illustrated by Kazue Kato. It received an anime series, and a movie; and it’s dark fantasy story is quite popular. The story follows Rin and his brother, Yukio, who find out that Satan is actually their father. Rin inherits his father’s powers. And after his guardian is killed by Satan, Rin strives to get revenge on his father. Together with his brother, Rin works to fight against the demons.

Rin Okumura, the son of Satan who plans to get revenge and kill his father.

Wow, his nendoroid looks amazing! By the way, I’ve read some of Blue Exorcist, and he really does look just like he does in the manga. My favorite detail is the red dot in his deep blue eyes, it brings the figure to life! Rin comes with his sword, and the hand and arm parts for holding it. His first faceplate is his smiling face for when he’s ready for action. I like this pose a lot; and as you can see, Rin has a tail too.

Rin’s fighting stance is awesome isn’t it? The blue fire looks quite cool. His second faceplate is his angered, fighting expression. With this faceplate, his ears change to pointy ones. Rin’s nendoroid includes fire effects for his tail and his sword, and even his forehead. You should be able to recreate all sorts of scenes with him!

I like his laughing expression! He seems joyful here doesn’t he?

It looks like Rin is getting ready for action! His battling poses are cool aren’t they? He includes an additional leg part with his knee bent, which is useful for jumping or fighting poses.

Wouldn’t it be hilarious to recreate Rin’s cooking? That’s why he comes with the frying pan! Rin takes cooking quite seriously, and he’s pretty good at it! I’d love to put him in the kitchen in my dollhouse.

Of course, Rin Okumura is compatible with his twin brother, Yukio Okumura.

Nendoroid Rin Okumura is currently on preorder, and he is expected to release sometime in the fourth quarter of 2024. I recommend getting him from the Good Smile Online shop, or the Good Smile US store. You can also order from any anime store you trust.

In conclusion, I think that Rin Okumura’s nendoroid would be an excellent addition to any fan’s collection! To be honest, I think the Good Smile company did a brilliant job with this figure. I’m sure he’d be cool to display and create scenes with.
