Nendoroid Memcho Review

With Oshi No Ko’s second season just around the corner, who wouldn’t be excited? Everyone’s favorite idols will be appearing on TV again soon; and the fan base is thrilled. While B Komachi’s Kana takes the spotlight which her singing voice, and Ruby’s dance continues to impress, Memcho works hard to promote the group. Memcho is certainly an important asset to B Komachi, especially since most B Komachi fans were originally hers.
And good news for everyone who loves Memcho; the Good Smile company is putting her nendoroid on preorder! Memcho is one of my favorite characters, so I’m super excited to review her. With that, let’s get started!
Oshi No Ko is a manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It’s been airing as a TV anime series since spring 2023. The anime can only be watched on HIDIVE however. The story starts with a doctor and his patient who are reincarnated as an idol’s twins. Their mother Ai, hides the fact that she has kids as she continues her work as a star. But in an unexpected series of events, she ends up being murdered. Desperate to live up to their mother’s dreams, Aqua and Ruby take on the industry and attempt avenge their mother. Oshi No Ko seems cute at first, but it focuses on the corruption of the popular industry and expresses rather dark themes.
Memcho is a popular Youtuber, and now part of the idol group, B Komachi after Aqua invited her to join. She has an excitable personality, and worked with her friend Akane in a dating show too.
Wow, she looks so happy! Memcho is so cute in nendoroid form; I love how she turned out. Her first faceplate features her usual, excited expression. Oshi No Ko character’s eyes continue to impress me in general, but I like the color of Memcho’s. Memcho’s nendoroid figure is wearing her casual outfit from the anime. Plus, she includes her phone, so she can take lots of cool videos!
Aww, I love her sassy pose. The expression suits her, doesn’t it? I just noticed her earrings, I’m glad they included this detail.
Memcho’s new nendoroid even comes with her shocked face from when Aqua invited her to join B Komachi. This was actually one of my favorite scenes in the anime, so I’d love to recreate it in nendoroid form.
Here, she is doing a pose for social media. She includes an extra leg part that is bent upward, which will give you even more poses for her.
It’s so cool how they even gave her the wings. Honestly, I’m really impressed with Memcho’s figure.
Memcho is also compatible with Akane’s nendoroid. It would be super fun to recreate their scenes from when they worked on the reality dating show together.

In conclusion, I love Memcho’s nendoroid; she’s one of the best adaptations I’ve seen so far. I hope that we eventually get a version of her featuring her B Komachi appearance as well.
