Memcho’s Nendoroid Gets a Sneak Peak!

I’m extremely happy to say that we have more information on Memcho’s nendoroid. The Good Smile company previously announced on their social media that she would be receiving a nendoroid figure, and recently they have released an example photo for her. I love Oshi No Ko, and Memcho is one of my favorite characters. So naturally, I’m thrilled to be covering her today.
Oshi No Ko is a manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It’s been airing as a TV anime series since spring 2023. The anime can only be watched on HIDIVE however. The story starts with a doctor and his patient who are reincarnated as an idol’s twins. Their mother Ai, hides the fact that she has kids as she continues her work as a star. But in an unexpected series of events, she ends up being murdered. Desperate to live up to their mother’s dreams, Aqua and Ruby take on the industry and attempt avenge their mother. Oshi No Ko seems cute at first, but it focuses on the corruption of the popular industry and expresses rather dark themes.
Memcho is a popular Youtuber, and now part of the idol group, B Komachi after Aqua invited her to join. She has an excitable personality, and worked with her friend Akane in a dating show too.
Memcho’s new nendoroid looks rather adorable doesn’t she? They got all her details right. I like those things on her head though I’m not sure what they are. Memcho is featured in her sky blue, sweater with a skirt. The first faceplate we get to see is Memcho’s overjoyed faceplate. We can see that she’ll come with her phone too. I love that Memcho is such an optimistic person, and even when things aren’t working out for her, she continues to keep an open mind. I’m glad she was able to realize her dreams. And I love the direction the Good Smile company went with her nendoroid. I’m really happy with her design.
I already theorized about what Memcho’s faceplates will be before, but I think she’ll include a smiling face with a closed mouth, and her shocked, moved face for when Aqua recruited her. And of course, she’ll include her happy expression above. Memcho will probably come with some great accessories. I wonder if she’ll include her signature yellow glow stick. I bet that a special base featuring Memcho’s signature will be given to those who preorder her. Memcho has a cute signature, so I’m looking forward to seeing it.
We may not have a release date yet, but I think that Memcho’s nendoroid will go up for preorder very soon. since Akane recently went up for preorder, so it’s safe to assume that Memcho will follow. I’ll do a review for her when we get more information.
