Memcho Bridal Dress Ver. Review

Some of my favorite may not necessarily be the ones that feature our favorite characters as we know and love them, but figures that depict new and interesting outfits or scenes for these characters. And putting the dazzling idols of Oshi No Ko in wedding dresses is a perfect way to do just that!
Bandpresto’s has brought us a new figure featuring MEMcho in a bridal dress, so in this post, I’ll be reviewing her and sharing some important information about her.
Oshi No Ko is a manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It’s been airing as a TV anime series since spring 2023. The anime can only be watched on HIDIVE however. The story starts with a doctor and his patient who are reincarnated as an idol’s twins. Their mother Ai, hides the fact that she has kids as she continues her work as a star. But in an unexpected series of events, she ends up being murdered. Desperate to live up to their mother’s dreams, Aqua and Ruby take on the industry and attempt avenge their mother. Oshi No Ko seems cute at first, but it focuses on the corruption of the popular industry and expresses rather dark themes.
Memcho is a popular Youtuber, and now part of the idol group, B Komachi after Aqua invited her to join. She has an excitable personality and works with her friend Akane in a dating show too.
MEMchoo looks lovely in her white dress, doesn’t she? Her outfit comes fully detailed; She’s wearing gloves, slippers, and even a veil that wraps around her horn. If you gaze at her clothes closely, you’ll see the patterns in the cloth.
MEMcho’s pose is quite charming! She’s featured with a winking expression, and she gives off somewhat mischievous vibes.
Oshi No Ko MEMcho Bridal Dress Figure is currently up for preorders, and she is set to release in October 2024. She stands about 7.9 inches tall, and she’s built with plastic materials. This figure does not include any movable or interchangeable parts.
In conclusion to this review, MEMcho is one of my favorite characters, and I think this figure portrays her very well! I’m excited to review more collectibles like this!
