Nendoroid Oda Sakunosuke (Bungou Stray Dogs)

Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! I have some great news for Bungou Stray Dog or “BSD” fans! We are getting nendoroids for Ango and Oda. They are meant to be compatible with the previously released Osamu Dazai Dark Ver. Together, these three can make some awesome scenes from their flashback story in Bungou Stray Dogs.

In this post, we will cover the Oda Sakunosuke nendoroid. But I will have a post for the Sakaguchi Ango nendoroid next so check it out too.

Speaking of Bungou Stray Dogs, I first found out about nendoroids when I was looking up BSD stuff on the internet. I pretty much fell in love with the chibi figures…And now I have written many posts about them on my very own blog. For those that don’t know Bungou Stray Dogs, it is a monthly manga series running in Kadokawa Young Ace magazine. It is written by Asagiri Kafuka and Illustrated by Harukawa Sango. Kanai Neko draws the chibi spin off series; Bungou Stray Dogs Wan!. And lastly, Bungou Stray Dogs Beast, which was written by Asagiri Kafuka. Later a manga adaptation was illustrated by Shiwasu Hoshikawa. Phew…Asagiri Sensei sure has a ton of works…

Sakunosuke Oda is the protagonist of the flashback arc. He believes that he can be a Port Mafia agent without killing anyone. he also has quite a large family consisting of orphaned kids. He is based on the author by the same name. And his friendship with Dazai and Ango was also based on the friendship they had in real life.

Time to take a peak at the new nendo!

He does look tough for a pacifist. I like the coat.

He comes with a gun like the dark version of dazai! He really does have bright blue eyes doesn’t he?

How nice, he includes the book as well. I see that we are getting pieces for him to place his hands within his pocket.

That food…is making me hungry…It came from the restaurant where all the orphaned kids he rescued stay. Oda cherishes them like family.

I love how all three of these men come with their drinks! I always wanted to try a giant ice cube like that…
