Nendoroid Ango Sakaguchi (Bungou Stray Dogs)

Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! I have some great news for Bungou Stray Dog or “BSD” fans! We are getting nendoroids for Ango and Oda. They are meant to be compatible with the previously released Osamu Dazai Dark Ver. Together, these three can make some awesome scenes from their flashback story in Bungou Stray Dogs.

In this post, we will cover the Ango Sakaguchi nendoroid. But I will have a post for the Sakunosuke Oda nendoroid next so check it out too.

Speaking of Bungou Stray Dogs, I first found out about nendoroids when I was looking up BSD stuff on the internet. I pretty much fell in love with the chibi figures…And now I have written many posts about them on my very own blog. For those that don’t know Bungou Stray Dogs, it is a monthly manga series running in Kadokawa Young Ace magazine. It is written by Asagiri Kafuka and Illustrated by Harukawa Sango. Kanai Neko draws the chibi spin off series; Bungou Stray Dogs Wan!. And lastly, Bungou Stray Dogs Beast, which was written by Asagiri Kafuka. Later a manga adaptation was illustrated by Shiwasu Hoshikawa. Phew…Asagiri Sensei sure has a ton of works…

Ango Sakaguchi was introduced in the flashback ark. He is a data collector for the Port Mafia. Ango was based on a real author, and his friendship with Oda and Dazai was also based on the real life friendship they had.

So now let us look at the new nendo!

He looks intelligent. But just like he does in the show!

I love his angry flustered face. >~<

Aww, he comes with the cat too. Ango includes his camera for when they were taking group photos at the bar.

It’s worth mentioning that the tomato juice is his preorder bonus item. Meaning you most likely can’t get it if you buy him later. So I’d absolutely preorder this one if you want him!

Seems like it would be so much fun to have them all together!

Ango Sakaguchi will release sometime in the 4th quarter of 2023. He can be expected to arrive somewhere between October to December.
