Top 10 Jujutsu Kaisen Characters Who Deserve Nendoroids
Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! I’m just your average blogger who’s obsessed and overly excited about nendoroids! Plus, I’m a bit of an anime enthusiast. Thank you for supporting me here on my blog! I have a YouTube channel too, so please check that out later as well. And thanks to everyone for checking out my website!
I usually talk about nendoroids and review them. But in this post, I’ll be talking about a lack of nendoroids. This is a nice change of pace isn’t it? Do you ever think about how there are these characters in your favorite show, that aren’t quite so major; but you’re still dying to get your hands on their nendoroid? Then again, the Good Smile company can only put out so many nendos each year; so they might even leave out characters you’d expect to see figures for. In a way, perhaps Figuarts Mini’s have gotten ahead of nendoroids in the sense that they’ve put in a good effort to put out a variety of characters. But Figuarts Mini’s don’t include as many parts, and us Nendoroid collectors might desire a little more. Looking toward 2024, I think we can expect to see a new wave of Jujutsu Kaisen nendos as this year very few were announced. And since the Shibuya Incident is currently airing, now is the perfect time to make some new characters as nendos. Choosing who gets figures is a difficult process. Popularity of the character is most important. It’s also a good idea to pick characters that have a lot of screen time. For us fans, all we can do now is speculate. So in this post, I’m going to be going over my top 10 list for characters in JJK who I think totally deserve their own nendos! My list is based on popularity, my own personal opinion, and who I think would make the most sense. Please keep in mind that like any list, this is a matter of opinion. I’d love to hear your list in the comments! And if I missed your favorite character, please let me know! >~<
I have read all the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. This post contains major spoilers and assumes that the readers have knowledge of the entire Shibuya Incident ark. Including scenes that haven’t aired just yet.
In case any of the readers don’t know which JJK characters already have nendos, here is a list of them.
Yuji Itadori
Megumi Fushiguro
Nobara Kugisaki
Satoru Gojo (3 versions)
Suguru Geto (2 versions)
Yuta Okkotsu
Kento Nanami
Maki Zenin
Toge Inumaki
Panda
Please also remember that this article was written in September 2023. Maybe in the future some of these anime characters will have their own nendos!
Jujutsu Kaisen “Sorcery Fight” is a massive hit manga and anime series by Gege Akutami. It has 2 seasons and a special movie for it’s prequel series, Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The story follows a boy named Itadori Yuji, who eats a mysterious finger belonging to the ancient curse Ryomen Sukuna. After eating it, it turns out he is the perfect vessel; and he must collect and eat all the other fingers before his execution. Jujutsu Kaisen focuses on a vast cast of students at the Jujutsu Technical high school. The story has some great characters, but in a dark world filled with curses and no mercy, it’s never good to get too attached.
Without further ado, let’s get straight to the point!
10: Kokichi Muta (Ultimate Mechamaru)
First on our list is Kokichi Muta, or the personality behind Mechamaru. While he wasn’t an extremely popular character before, thanks to his recent face reveal, he’s become more important lately. By the way, if you like Muta, I highly recommend reading the light novels. There’s a chapter about him and Miwa that I think is very necessary for his character development.
Kokichi Muta is a student at Kyoto Jujutsu high school. He’s very kind and deeply cares for his classmates. But he was born with a frail body and is forced to control a robot named “Ultimate Mechamaru”. Desiring to get a regular body, Muta makes a pact with Mahito and becomes a spy for both Jujutsu high and the enemies’ group.
The advantage and disadvantage to Mechamaru’s possible nendo is his robot. Assuming his nendoroid was priced at normal pricing, it wouldn’t be practical to include Kokichi Muta and Mechamaru as one nendoroid. It would be best to do two different figures. The main question being; which version would you want? Personally, although I like his real form better, I believe the robot would make a more interesting figure. Having different pieces for his robotic parts would be interesting. It would also make sense to do Mechamaru so that you could display him with the other Kyoto students. Would you like to see Kokichi Muta as a nendoroid figure? Let me know in the comments!
I think he has a 3/10 likelihood of getting a nendoroid. I don’t really feel like he would receive one unless the Good Smile company makes other Kyoto students.
9: Utahime Iori
Utahime is a teacher at Kyoto Jujutsu high. She’s close friends with Shoko. Utahime is easily provocted by a certain man named Satoru Gojo. She also was shown at the beginning of the Hidden Inventory ark, in the mysterious mansion along with mei.
The best thing about a possible Utahime nendoroid would be the hilarious scenes you could make with her and Gojo. She could also have a younger version for Hidden Inventory, but I think it’s more likely to get her adult version. Iori could have lots of fun faces! I think she would be a cool nendo to have even if she’s not super major yet. I think she’d come with a slightly annoyed face, an angry face for when Gojo gets on her nerves, and a laughing or happy faceplate.
I think she has a 1/10 likelihood of getting a nendoroid. Although she would make a great nendo, her lack of screen time leads me to believe that now is not a good time to do her in nendoroid form.
8: Riko Amanai
Riko Amanai is the star plasma vessel; meaning that she’s destined to merge with Tengen in order to stabilize him. Throughout the hidden Inventory ark, Satoru and Suguru work hard to protect her from assassination. Riko loves experiencing things in the world and having fun; and she broke all our hearts at the end of the ark. Riko may not be a very popular character, but to those who love the Hidden Inventory ark, she is a favorite.
Riko would be an excellent choice if the Good Smile company waned to expand upon the Hidden Inventory collection. As someone wo simply loves the storyline, I would actually prefer a Riko Amanai nendoroid over some of the others on this list. She would benefit from a Kuroi Misato nendo to go alongside her. Amanai’s nendo could have a variety of possible outfits, since she dresses up in different styles throughout the series. But I think they would feature her in her school uniform. I think she’d have a smiling face for when she’s having fun, a pouting face, and a crying face for her last moments.
I think she has a 2/10 likelihood of getting a nendoroid. Shoko is more popular than her and would be the more obvious choice, so I don’t see her getting a figure unless Toji, or Shoko does.
7: Kasumi Miwa
It’s seems like it’s quite likely that the Good Smile company would start releasing nendoroids for the students of Kyoto Jujutsu high school. So far, we only have nendos for the Tokyo Jujutsu high students. All the students from Tokyo already have been feartured, so it’s about time we get to see some of the Kyoto students in nendoroid form! The biggest question is who? To me, if they released one of these characters, they’d release at least a few of them. Miwa is the second best choice for the first Kyoto Jujutsu sorcerer in my opinion. >~<
Kasumi Miwa is classmates with Mechamaru, Mai, Todo, Momo, and Kamo. She’s a huge fan of Satoru Gojo. Miwa has a kindhearted personality and a lot of energy. She gets her sword taken from her during the exchange event; plus Inumaki puts her to sleep via phone call. “Hello? Miwa the useless here.”
I chose a lot of girls for this list, but I think we need more girls. Maki and Nobara are the only female characters in the series with nendos; it’d be nice to get a third one. I think Miwa is a good choice because she’s an overall like able character. I love everybody in JJK, but really who doesn’t like Miwa? Her pastel blue hair would look nice on a nendoroid. like Maki, she could come with her weapon. Acrylic effects for her simple domain would be perfect! I believe she’d have a starry eyed faceplate, a happy blushing faceplate, and either a serious face or a silly face.
I think she has a 4/10 chance of getting a nendoroid. If someone else from Kyoto Jujutsu high gets a nendo, those odds will go way up.
6: Jogo
While the series’ main antagonist Kenjaku doesn’t exactly have a nendo yet, Suguru Geto’s nendoroid gives us another main villain. But as far as bad guys go, we don’t have many of them as nendoroids. It would be amazing to get some of the curses like Mahito, Jogo, Hanami, Dagon, and the others in Mahito’s group.
Jogo is an ancient cursed spirit; he belongs to Mahito’s group. Jogo is easily provoked, and blows his earplugs off when his volcano head erupts. He is somewhat popular among villain characters but not extremely popular overall. I think Jogo is probably one of the more memorable villains due to his appearance.
I hope that we get a Jogo nendoroid in the future! I just think he would be really awesome to have. Jogo wouldn’t be able to use normal pieces and his head would be built differently. But Jogo would be fun to have right? He could come with effect parts for his head erupting, and plenty of effects from his battles against Gojo. His ember insects would also be very neat. Plus, he’s well-suited to the chibi figure style. Jogo would benefit from a Mahito nendoroid too. The good news is that the Good Smile company has already designed and released a Jogo keychain; which to me hints to the possibility of a Jogo nendo someday soon.
I think he has a 8/10 likelihood of getting a nendoroid. If a Mahito nendo is realeased, I bet Jogo is soon to follow.
5: Todo Aoi
Todo Aoi is Yuji’s “besto freindo” as well as his “brother”. His specialty is asking his foes what kind of women they like; and depending on their answer, he’ll either cry and beat you to a pulp, or become your best friend. Todo is the strongest of the Kyoto Jujutsu high school students.
Among JJK fans, you either love or hate him. Todo can be controversial to some, but he’s a hilarious character either way. We’ve seen merchandise like T shirts and collectibles themed with the “Besto Friendo” featuring him and Yuji. I think Aoi would make a wonderful and funny nendoroid figure! His Boogie Woogie hand sighs would work great in nendoroid form. If a Kyoto student gets a nendo, I think Todo aoi is the best choice to start with. Having him and Yuji together would be wicked.
I think he has a 6/10 likelihood of getting a nendoroid. He is featured more in season 1 than season 2, and now is a better time to release characters for the new season.
4: Choso
Being Itadori’s brother, it’s kind of hard to ignore Choso’s importance to the story. I think Choso’s real hype will come with season 3. However, his big reveal in season 2 will soon be shown in the anime. Figuarts Mini has already recognized the importance of this character and put out a figure for him. So it’s safe to assume the Good Smile company is thinking about this too.
Choso is a half-human, half-cursed spirit. He is one of the cursed wombs, along with his brothers, Kechizu and Eso. He lives in order to protect his beloved brothers, and is devastated after their death. But upon discovering that Yuji is also his brother, he is given a new reason to live. Choso loves it when Yuji calls him “Aniki”.
Honestly, Choso would make a wickedly awesome nendoroid! His blood manipulation technique would work well as an effect. And even his dreary face works unexpectedly well in a chibi figure style. It seems like Choso could easily receive a nendoroid someday. And he’s a pretty popular character!
I think Choso has a 8/10 chance of getting a nendoroid. He would be a good choice because he can be a bad guy and a good guy.
3: Shoko Ieri
Shoko Ieri is Satoru and Suguru’s classmate. She’s known for her expertise in reversed cursed technique, the ability to heal damaged body parts. She works behind the scenes throughout the series to properly heal the characters between missions. Shoko has a collected and mature personality, and keeps to herself most of the time.
Shoko feels like a must for a nendoroid to me. She’s one of the most underestimated characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. Although Shoko’s adult version might be more well known, I think her younger appearance from her school days would be the ideal choice for the nendo. We have Satoru and Suguru Jujutsu high versions, I feel like we really need Shoko. She would be amazing to have alongside them. Ieri might would be a bit of a smaller nendoroid, due to her lack of screen time. I doubt she includes any kinds of combat parts. I think Shoko would include a smiling face with her cigarette, a sad faceplate, and maybe a happy expression with her eyes closed. Introducing her to nendoroids means that we’d get another girl too! Riko is shown more in the anime, but I see Shoko more often in merchandise. As far as Hidden Inventory girls go, Kuroi would be a good choice too. But Shoko seems like the most obvious option. She looks a lot like Nobara in her younger days, so I think she’ll transfer to figure form easily.
I think she has a 9/10 likelihood of getting a nendoroid. If we get more Hidden Inventory nendos, Shoko is an excellent choice!
2: Toji Fushiguro
Toji Zenin used his wife’s name “Fushiguro” after leaving the Zenin clan. Toji is a free man who does as he pleases. After hearing about the star plasma vessel, Toji comes up with a plan to kill her. He is a majorly important character in both the Hidden Inventory and Shibuya Incident arks.
Yes, it’s about time that we get a nendoroid figure for Megumi’s papa. He simply just makes for an awesome figure. The cursed spirit resting on his shoulder would be so adorable too! plus, the curse could also go with Suguru’s nendoroids. Toji is an insanely popular character. Fans love him and they love to joke about him too. Like with Maki, Fushiguro would come with a good variety of weapons. Inverted Spear of Heaven and his Chain of a Thousand Miles in nendoroid form sounds wicked. You’ll need him to recreate his fights with Geto and Gojo. Honestly, we just really, really need a Toji nendoroid. I’m also interested in seeing what the fan base creates with him and Megumi. The teenage Megumi and his papa could have so many hilarious scenes together.
I think he has a 9/10 likelihood of getting a nendoroid. To be blunt, I think the Good Smile company made a huge mistake by not showcasing a figure of him yet.
1: Mahito
Yuji faces many curses throughout his life as a Jujutsu sorcerer, but perhaps Mahito is the most formidable of them all. Mahito killed his friend Junpei, so it’s only natural that Itadori’s come to despise him. Mahito has a strangely optimistic yet also negative personality. He acts freely, obsessed over the meaning of death. Mahito conducts strange experiments on human bodies using is technique, “Idle Transfiguration”. Mahito is very popular with the fans of JJK. Mostly for his fun loving yet also evil attitude. He fights in some of the most epic battles of the series as well.
Mahito needs a nendoroid. He needs one really bad at this point. With the Kento Nanami nendoroid, don’t you think he should be able to fight Mahito? I’ve been longing to re-create that scene for a while now. I don’t own Nanamin just yet, but I wanted to get the two of them together. Thinking about Mahito, he works amazing as a nendoroid. You have his popularity and the fact that he’s a major character in the story. But there’s also the fact that he would have lots of good facial expressions to choose from. In addition, transfigured humans could go with his hand parts like he’s throwing them out to use. Mahito would come with great extra parts for all the odd things he becomes. When changing his soul, he grows bird wings or spikes. These transformations would be cool to have for his figure. Another benefit to getting him is because he’s a villain. I definitely think more bad guys should be getting nendoroids; the good guys need someone to battle after all. like with Jogo, there is a nendoroid keychain of Mahito. Which hints that he might get a figure sometime soon. Mahito lends well to chibi style figures too! My guesses for Mahito’s faceplates are: His creepy smile for fighting or just being weird, a happy face with closed eyes, and a startled face for when Sukuna shows up or during his match against Yuji. what do you think his faceplates would be? Let me know your guesses in the comments!
I think he has a 10/10 likelihood of getting a nendoroid. I’m pretty sure that someday, we will absolutely be seeing Mahito in nendoroid form.

And those were my top 10! It took me a little bit to decide who to choose for it. JJK has so many amazing characters and I love them all. It’s so difficult for me to pick.
