Nendoroid Doll Hirori Gotoh (Bocchi) Review

Bocchi’s nendoroid doll’s preorder is closing soon, so I wanted to cover her before she’s sold out. The Good Smile company has been turning more and more iconic characters into nendoroid dolls. Nendoroid dolls or ‘nendo dolls’ are a line of figures by the Good Smile company. Nendoroids dolls share the athletics of the cute, chibi nendoroid figures, but their taller model allows you to dress them up in all sorts of outfits!
Aki Hamaji’s Bocchi the Rock! is a slice of life, comedy manga that began in 2017. It received an anime series in 2022, and the story has become immensely popular! Hitori Gotoh is a shy girl who struggles with social interactions, but that won’t stop her dream of becoming a rock star! One day, a girl named Nijika Ijichi invites Gotoh to join her new band. The story follows the Kessoku band, as Gotoh tries to make friends. The character’s last names share the last names of real musicians, with each fictional band sharing last names with members of a real one.
Hitori Gotoh is the lead guitarist of Kessoku band. Despite having serious social anxiety, she wants to make friends and become a famous rock star. Bocchi also works hard at her new part-time job at STARRY.
Bocchi looks awesome as a nendoroid doll! She’s one of the most popular anime characters these days, so I’m sure everyone will love dressing her up in different outfits. I love how all the details on her clothes turned out, especially the zipper on her tracksuit.
You can swap her skirt out for pants as well. Wouldn’t it be so nice if they made the Kessoku band hoodies too?
Bocchi’s doll includes her standard faceplate, but you can combine her with her nendoroid figure for even more expressions.
Her shoes and feet are magnetic. Nendo dolls include magnetic bases. Personally, I’m a huge fan of these. Bocchi’s sitting pose is cute, isn’t it?>

In concl;usion to thids review, I love Bocchi’s new nendoroid doll. I wish she came with her guitar though. I hope we get to see more of our favorite characters as dolls!
