Good Smile Photo Contest: Love in Focus
Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! I’m so glad you found my blog! I love to talk about upcoming anime figures and merchandise and share photos of my own collection. Nendography is the art of taking photos of the Good Smile company’s adorable figures. nendoroids are easy to create scenes with, and it’s always fun to take pictures of them! And for those who love sharing their snapshots, I have good news! The Good Smile company has launched another create space on the Good Smile US store. You can visit their website and register your photos to their gallery. Plus, you can also vote for your favorite ones! The theme of the photo contest is Valentine’s Day! Your photo will need to feature a romance or friendship, putting love in focus! In this post I will discuss the rules of the competition, so I hope you’l find it helpful!
Good Smile’s Love in Focus create space is open until February 11th, 2024. You can enter your own photos into the competition, with a chance to win prizes, and be featured on the Good Smile Company’s social media! The contest is hosted on the Good Smile US site, and is only open to residents of the United States. Only adults with a US mailing address can participate. Please read the competition’s rules before you enter. The rules are quite specific, so be sure to read them carefully.
Please do not use photos that are not your own. Do not take photos from the internet. Instead, take your own original photos.
You can enter as many photos as you like, as long as they are different scenes. For example, do not enter multiple angles of the same scene.
Please note that your photos may be shared on the Good Smile Company’s social accounts.
Try to keep your pictures within the themes of Valentine’s Day, love, friendship, and kindness.
You are not allowed to mix IPs. For example, you cannot use characters from different anime or series.
All figures in your photo shoot should be made by the Good Smile company.
You are not allowed to mix parts from different figures. You can check the Good Smile Info site for information on the specific parts your figures originally came with.
It is ok if you post or already posted your photo elsewhere.
Don’t include any products with brand names in your picture. Also, do not include any logos or key visuals from IPs.
It is ok to use multiple types of figures as long as they are the same IP and made by the Good Smile company.
Please do not enter any inappropriate photos.
You are allowed to digitally edit your photos if you need to.
The Good Smile company is sharing a cute Valentine’s prop to use in your scenes! You aren’t required to use it, but feel free if you need something to brighten up your photo.

The results will be announced on February 14th 2024, which is Valentine’s Day! You can find the results on the Good Smile Company’s Twitter page. I can’t wait to see who wins! Of course, I’ll be participating too. I love taking photos of my nendoroid collection, so I’ll be sure to do something cute this time around.
