Nendoroid Doll Giyu Tomioka

Hello everyone! Arashi Bori here! Thanks for reading my blog. I try to create a post everyday. I hope you can participate in this fun figure hobby space! The Good Smile company is most famous for their Nendoroid figure series, but they also have a popular figure line called nendoroid dolls or nendo dolls. Nendoroid dolls use the same head and hair parts as nendos, but their bodies are taller. The proportions are more realistic, bringing the figure to about 10 centimeters tall. You can also create clothes for them, via sewing or crocheting. Nendo dolls are even more movable than the regular nendos as well. You can either buy the bodies separate and use the heads from regular nendoroids you already have, or you can purchase the dolls premade. Only the premade packages include clothes. The Good Smile company has steadily releasing these models for many of our beloved characters.

Demon Slayer has already had many of it’s main characters featured. Including:

  • Tanjiro Kamado

  • Zenitsu Inosuke

  • Nezuko Kamado

  • Inosuke Hashibira

Now, some of the Hashira’s are being introduced to the nendo doll series! In this post, I will cover Nendoroid Doll Giyu Tomioka! 🌊

First, can we talk about Giyu Tomioka in the anime? Tomioka is the water Hashira, and the one who introduced Tanjiro to the Demon Slayer corps. Despite his goal being to destroy demons, he chose to bet his life for the young boy and his sister Nezuko. He created his own technique that only he can wield; the 11th form. Although he is quite strong, it is rumored that he isn’t very popular among the other Hashiras.

Tomioka is probably my favorite in KNY. So let’s check out his nendoroid doll!

He’s so cute! >~< Is this his tough stance? He seems to be standing against an enemy.

I Love this pose! Giyu is pulling a sword from it’s sheath. His outfit is so nice isn’t it? Looks just like he hopped out of the anime!

This could be a really tough doll. I can picture him in many different outfits.

Brilliant way to hold his sword. If you can notice, the feet contain magnets. All nendoroid dolls come with magnetized bases. Which in my opinion, work much better! Under his shoes, their are magnets built into his feet. I don’t know why you’d want too, but he can go barefoot too…

I love that mopey face…>~< This is the main face from his nendoroid. You can take his cloak off too if you want. The color scheme on this figure is nice.

His outfit is so well-detailed! I’m amazed by level of detail, and how close it is to the anime. I love his shoes for some reason. I think it’s that blue color.

I have an outfit like this in real life don’t I? Rengoku’s armor was brown, but Giyu’s is black. Both of them came with those baggy pants. His clothes have a small hole in the back, in case you wanted to use a peg instead. The outfit will release in a separate package in addition to the bundle. If you already have a body and a Kyojuro Rengoku Nendoroid, you can save money by buying this instead. He will release in the first quarter of 2024. You can preorder him now!

If Giyu Tomioka is your favorite Hashira nendo, support him here! You can participate in our Demon Slayer Nendoroid Hashira poll on YouTube to let me know who’s your favorite! Feel free to comment and be a part of our community!

Of course, if Tomioka’s not your favorite, you can always vote for someone else. >~<
