Vacation Log: Dallas, Texas: Trip to Kinokuniya Book Store Part 1
Hello! Arashi Bori here! I’m currently on vacation in Dallas! I got some great new merch to show everyone. I just want to point out, I have been to the Houston Kinokuniya before. Actually, last year. This is my favorite store, so I’m super excited to go again! This time, in Dallas which has two store locations. For those who don’t know, Kinokuniya bookstores sell anime and Japanese merchandise, and various items of stationery. You can also get books written in Japanese! It’s a cool store, so I recommend checking one out someday. But it’s so far away from me I can only go once a year.
So I picked up a lot of stuff. But first let’s look at our nendos in the car!
Yuta!
I brought my special bag. Those who read this blog often might remember it.
Deidara sitting in the window!
Oops, I somehow accidentally put two in one pouch.
So, in total I brought seven Nendoroids with me. Dazai, Chuya, Yuta, Yuji, Eren, Deidara, and Suguru.
Kinokuniya in sight!
Ok, here’s the bag. I’ll be taking photos here!
Now it’s time to show off the new stuff I got!
First, I got Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Key Animation! I love these books! The Key Animation books contain the original drawings from the animators. Featuring the individual frame sketches for plenty of amazing scenes! I have the first book; these are so awesome! And good for drawing too…
Here is the back. These books come with nice covers don’t they? This one in particular is fairly new; I believe it released in September. You’ll also see notes from the animators throughout the pictures. I’ll do a post showing the inside eventually.
Moving on…Let’s open up a Jujutsu Kaisen Adverge Motion 2 figure! This on is for Suguru Geto. I got two of them, guess who the second one will be!
These figures were cheaper than most anime figures of similar sizes. The box is nice isn’t it? Unlike most other packs, you can tell who’s inside by the character featured on the box. So, make sure you keep that in mind if you ever get any. I also seen the full collection of these in a set.
There he is!
Jogo! It’s very unusual to see figures of him, so I’m glad I picked this one up! Again, this is a Jujutsu Kaisen Adverge Motion 2! Looking nice, I like the red box!
I guess we’re collecting the bad guys…Jogo makes for some funny figures too.
The paint job is good. Lol, this was a funny picture of him!
They look good together as a set! I like these figures, so I may get more in the future.
I also got some manga! I love both these series, even though they’re short.
This one is [Takara Tomy Arts: Buchimasu! Jujutsu Kaisen badge!]
These look so cool… It’s a pin, I thought it was a keychain; I feel silly. The paper packaging the badge comes in is nice too isn’t it?
I got Yuji! He looks wicked!
We ate at New New buffet. Food was good!
I also went to another Kinokuniya, but since this post was kinda long, I’ll save that for a later post! I like Dallas for real, it seems like a pretty cool city. Thank you so much for reading my blog!
